Supporting Horse in Need Spain with a recurring donation is financially advantageous (with tax benefits). For us, regular contributions provide greater income stability for long-term planning - crucial for both helping horses and creating sustainable budgets.
We work daily to give abused, neglected and abandoned horses a new life. Thanks to supporters like you, we can provide the care, love and attention these animals deserve. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I don't have a credit card. Can I still donate via Donorbox?
Absolutely! After entering your name and email in the Donorbox form, you'll see a window requesting credit card details. Look for the "Other" option at the top, where you can select alternative methods. Choosing "SEPA Debit" will deduct your chosen amount monthly/yearly directly from your bank account.
I would like a receipt for my donation
No problem! For one-time bank transfers, please email us at: sponsor@paardinnoodspanje.nl
We'll need these details:
- name and surname
- complete address details
- the amount and transfer date
Once the payment reaches our account, we'll send you the receipt.
I would like a tax certificate
No problem! For direct donations and donations via Donorbox, we can provide a receipt (Netherlands), tax certificate (Belgium) or certificado (Spain) after each financial year. Please email sponsor@paardinnoodspanje.nl with your full name, address, including VAT number if applicable, and a screenshot or overview of donations made that year.
Can I set up a periodic donation agreement?
Currently, we don't offer formal periodic donation agreements as this would require setting up a direct debit subscription with our bank, which incurs additional costs. We prioritize ensuring maximum donations go directly to horse care.
For regular support, you can easily set up recurring monthly/annual donations through Donorbox This allows you to give consistently without creating extra costs for our foundation.
CANCELLING YOUR DONATION
Horse in Need Spain understands that circumstances may change and you might wish to cancel your support. As donations can be made through various channels, we ask you to first check your payment method via your bank statement. Below you'll find step-by-step instructions for cancelling your donation through Donorbox, Teaming or Geef.nl.
Donorbox
– Log into your Donorbox account
- Go to "My Donations"
– Select Paard in Nood Spanje
– Click "Cancel" or "Cancel Donation"
If this doesn't work, please email adoptie@paardinnoodspanje.nl
Teaming
- Go to "My Groups"
– Select Paard in Nood Spanje
- Choose "Leave the Group"
If this doesn't work, please complete Teaming's contact form. Unfortunately, we're not authorised to cancel your donation ourselves.
Geef.nl
In the foundation's early years, we offered Facebook donors the option to donate via Geef.nl. If you're one of these donors:
– Log into your Geef.nl-account
- Go to "MIjn Donaties"
– Locate your donation to Paard in Nood Spanje.
– Click the option to cancel your donation.
If unsuccessful, as a donor you can email info@geef.nl with: the direct debit ID, donation amount, frequency, your full name, and 'Horse in Need Spain'. Geef.nl will then cancel the direct debit. Unfortunately, we are not authorised to terminate your donations ourselves.
