Guided tour
Are you near Seville and would like to visit? You’re very welcome! Caring for so many horses takes a lot of time, so we work with a tight schedule. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to just drop by unannounced. Guided tours are only available on Wednesdays, so we can take the time to talk with you, answer all your questions, and give you a proper look around. BOOKING IS REQUIRED – to avoid disappointment, please don’t come without a reservation.
As the foundation is not accessible via public roads and is located INSIDE a nature reserve, the entire area is gated. You will be picked up from our designated meeting point in the village.

Jeep Safari Nature Park
In addition to guided tours, the foundation also organises jeep safaris. A jeep safari not only offers a unique opportunity to admire the rescued horses up close but also to encounter other remarkable animals that live here freely in the wild. A highlight of the safari is the group of Konik horses from the Dutch Oostvaardersplassen, now roaming the hills.
Alongside the horses, the park is home to many other animals. With a bit of luck, you might spot deer grazing, catch a glimpse of wild boar, see rabbits darting through the bushes, and if you look up, birds of prey circling overhead.

For those who want to spend a real holiday in the region and near the foundation, we offer a short 3-day holiday. If you'd like some time to explore on your own, we offer 5-day holidays, with the first two days free for your own plans.
When you book a 3- or 5-day holiday, you’ll stay on a room-only basis (accommodation without meals)in one of the hotels in the centre of the village, Almaden de la Plata. Rooms are furnished and have a private bathroom, but no kitchen or fridge.
In het dorp zijn diverse restaurants waar je kunt ontbijten, lunchen en dineren. Tevens is er een supermarkt voor de nodige boodschappen en bij diverse pinautomaten kan er gepind worden. Gedurende de zomermaanden is het zwembad in het dorp geopend waar men de nodige verkoeling kan opzoeken.
Several airlines fly to Seville, but if you're joining the 3-day holiday, we recommend booking an early flight, as the programme (including the guided tour) begins on arrival day, Wednesday afternoon. Upon arrival in Seville, a taxi will be waiting for you outside the arrivals hall to take you to the hotel.
