DISCOVER WHO WE ARE
With support from dedicated volunteers, we provide daily care for over 150 horses. Most volunteers work on-site in Spain, responsible for animal care and maintaining the grounds and facilities. Others assist donors and sponsors, handle administration, or coordinate volunteer/intern schedules. Together, we’re committed to helping horses.
The Board & Advisory Council
The Board, together with the Advisory Council and the local manager, oversees the daily operations of Horse in Need Spain.
Volunteers
Our permanent volunteers in both Spain and the Netherlands support Horse in Need Spain's horses and other animals in various ways.
SBB Training Company
Horse in Need Spain is a certified training organisation where students gain hands-on experience and receive attentive guidance to develop their skills to the fullest.
History
Horse in Need Spain has a unique history. What started as a small horseback riding holiday business soon became a modest initiative and over the years grew into Spain's largest horse sanctuary.
